Q: What are the Atlanta Jaycees?

A: The Atlanta Jaycees (aka Atlanta JCI) is an organization of Atlanta young professionals ages 21-40 that provide a wide range of activities. Members can participate in community service, business networking, leadership development, and social events. 

Q: How do I become a member of the Atlanta Jaycees?
A: The cost for a 1-year membership is $99.00.  Click Here to register and pay online to have your Atlanta Jaycees Membership immediately activated.  You may also request a paper application at any of our upcoming events.
Q:  What are the benefits of becoming a member?
A: Other than all of the great discounts and deals listed on our Member Benefits page, your membership will allow you access to all Atlanta Jaycees sponsored events and meetings.  You will grow as an individual and as a professional by attending and running various events.
Q: What type of events do the Atlanta Jaycees host?
A: In addition to the Monthly Happy Hour and Monthly Membership Meeting, the Atlanta Jaycees host a number of different events.   Some of these events include Community Development and Volunteering, Personal and Professional Development, and various National and International Events.  You may view a list of all upcoming events on our Calendar of Events. 
Q:  Are there other chapters of the Junior Chamber of Commerce?

Q:  Who are some famous Jaycees?

 A: Senator Paul Coverdale, Ted Turner, Former Secretary of State, Colin Powell, Former President Gerald Ford, Larry Bird, Elvis Presley, Charles Lindbergh, and Former President Clinton 


Q:  Is attendance mandatory at any of the Atlanta Jaycees events?

 A:  No. You may attend as many or as few events as you wish.  Just know that the more you participate, the more benefit you will receive from being a member.  There are many opportunities available that suit a wide variety of needs: Social Networking, Business Networking, Leadership Development, Community Involvement, Individual Development, and International Exposure. 


Q:  Can I put my Jaycees activities on my resume?

 A:  Yes. The Jaycees are a well-known, respected international organization with over 6000 chapters in over 110 countries worldwide. ANY management position you take or project you run can be listed on your resume and members of the board can provide you with references. This is a GREAT way to expand your skill sets, experience, and contacts as well as be recognized as a leader and active member of your community by employers.
